Dear John,
I’m reaching out to you today to ask if you’ll take a stand with me for our rights, our country, and our democracy. But first, I want to share a bit about myself.
I’m the son of two educators. I’m a veteran. I’m a former Georgia legislator and current member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Throughout my life, the common thread has been a commitment to public service.
While representing Georgia’s 2nd Congressional District, I have worked tirelessly to fight and deliver for Middle and Southwest Georgia. I have stood steadfast in my support for working families, our rights, and making progress on issues like inflation, gun violence, and access to better opportunities no matter your zip code.
But Republicans have taken back the House, and they want to roll back the progress we’ve made, infringe on our rights, and play party politics.
