Our team is Galen Greenwalt, Skye White and Doug White. We are keeping busy, our ear to the ground, and exploring ways to increase the visibility and voice of rural America starting with Central Washington. We support each and every one of you with all our heart and passion.

I spoke with Dee Drewry, the state president of the Washington Federation of Republican Women, about guns during a recent lunch. Dee shared a compelling story about the 8-week long concealed carry permit training she took in Arizona, which required realistic simulations to prove the ability to handle specific situations. In Washington, however, there were virtually no restrictions on concealed carry permits. We discussed the importance of responsible gun ownership and the need for education, rather than just focusing on ownership and access. Education and our constitution should form the base of our strategy to make progress on gun control and prevent daily senseless killings.
