Friend, just two weeks after the most devastating earthquake in the region in the last decade, a second earthquake at 6.3–magnitude struck the same region this afternoon.

There are initial reports of buildings collapsing and injuries in northern Syria. Our teams are on the ground as I write this and are assessing the damage.

We launched our emergency response two weeks ago. We've been distributing emergency cash assistance, household kits, dignity kits for women and girls, hygiene supplies, and have launched two mobile health clinics. After today's news, we'll need to ramp up our efforts even further — and funding is needed now to save lives and support essential services.
