John — it’s
only February and national Republicans have already made Missouri a top
target for 2024. Let us catch you up:

Just hours after Lucas Kunce announced his campaign to replace Josh Hawley
on January 6th — two years to the day that Hawley ran from the
insurrectionists he helped incite outside the Capitol — GOP insiders at
the National Republican Senatorial Committee called Lucas “unhinged” for
wanting to take on a coward like Hawley.

They’ve known from the start that Lucas is a threat. And thanks to
Hawley’s crashing approval ratings + crumbling in-state support base, they
know we have a real opportunity to flip Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat next
year.

That’s why just a few weeks later, in a coordinated effort with DC special
interests, that same group launched another weird attack — criticizing
Lucas, a man from Central Missouri, for sounding like… a man from Central
Missouri.

These GOP insiders are willing to do + say whatever it takes to make Josh
Hawley look strong, even if it means lying about Lucas and tearing down
the grassroots movement we’re building behind him. And with so much time
between now + Election Day, we need to stay prepared for any other
desperate attacks they might throw our way.
