[link removed]

Dear John,

We’re excited to announce that Stranger at the Gate has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category ([link removed]) ! MPAC President, Salam Al-Marayati and I are proud to have collaborated on the film as consulting producers.

Stranger at the Gate tells the story of an Afghan refugee family, who are members of an Indiana mosque, who came face-to-face with a U.S. Marine with secret plans to bomb their community center. Directed by Joshua Seftel ([link removed]) , Stranger at the Gate is a story of grace, transformation, and hope. If you have not had a chance to watch the film yet, we’re thrilled to invite you to join us at one of the upcoming screenings. We’re honored that Malala Yousafzai ([link removed]) , who is one of the Executive Producers of the film, will be joining us at the screenings.

Please RSVP for the screenings here ([link removed]) . Space is limited.

If you are unable to attend one of the screenings, you can watch it here ([link removed]) . Also, share the link with your networks!

Stranger at the Gate is a phenomenal film and we couldn’t be more proud that it is getting the recognition it deserves by being nominated for an Oscar. I hope you get a chance to join us at one of the upcoming screenings or to watch the film with your loved ones.

In Peace,

Sue Obeidi
