As our nation commemorates President’s Day, I hope we all reflect on the great leaders whose vision made our country the greatest on earth.
In Washington this past week, there are still many unanswered questions about the Biden Administration’s response to the Chinese spy balloon that traversed out country with impunity as well as the additional unidentified objects shot down over the U.S. On Friday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with his Chinese counterpart at the Munich Security Conference where China refused to apologize for invading our airspace. In fact, the Chinese warned us of consequences for shooting down the balloon. The president’s soft-on-China approach has emboldened the Chinese regime. We should be projecting strength, instead Joe Biden projects weakness.
Meanwhile, the House Judiciary Committee has gone full steam ahead into our investigation into corruption and collusion between the Biden Administration and Big Tech. On Wednesday, the committee subpoenaed the CEOs of major corporations—including Facebook, Apple, Amazon, and Google—demanding all of their communications with the federal government regarding censorship of Americans. Free speech online must be protected, and I look forward to holding these companies accountable.

GOODEN DEMANDS FBI INVESTIGATE BIDEN OFFICIAL’S TIES TO CHINA
On Wednesday, I sent a letter to the FBI demanding an immediate investigation into Biden-appointee Dominic Ng’s reported ties to the Chinese Communist Party and links to Chinese Intelligence front groups. Mr. Ng’s ties to the CCP are deeply concerning, but his donation of over $100,000 to President Biden’s election campaign was rewarded with a position to represent U.S. business interests in Asia. Dominic Ng is compromised at best and a traitor at worse, and the President should immediately rescind his appointment.
“I’m looking forward to bringing [the FBI and DOJ] into our committee. We’ve got a lot of questions for them about past elections, interference in past elections. I think all of the executive branch is well deserving of some oversight that’s been missing for the past four years.”
“We expect some of these document requests to come back towards the end of March. I think you’ll start to see some of the more explosive hearings around April or May. We’ve only had subpoena power for a few weeks…. We’re issuing these requests, were issuing these subpoenas, we are bringing in witnesses for depositions, and I believe the American people are going to be presented with a very strong case this next year.”
EXCLUSIVE: GOP REPS DEMAND FBI PROBE APPOINTEE LINKED TO ALLEGED CHINESE COMMUNIST ORGS
“Republican members of Congress led by Texas Rep. Lance Gooden of Texas are urging the FBI to investigate Dominic Ng, President Joe Biden’s appointee to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, according to a letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.”
