CNN: A Wisconsin Supreme Court race holds high stakes for abortion rights
and the 2024 election
NBC News: Democrats see a prime chance to take control of the Wisconsin
Supreme Court
Conservatives have controlled the Wisconsin Supreme Court for years --
often upholding breathtaking abuses of power by the Republican state
legislature. Now, a conservative justice is retiring and progressives have
a chance to flip the court.
NBC News reports that this race is "all but certain to shape abortion
rights in the state and could help decide who wins the crucial
battleground in the 2024 presidential election."

CNN: "The future of abortion, voting rights and redistricting in this
battleground state hang in the balance."
Officially, Wisconsin's Supreme Court races are "non-partisan." But this
year, two extreme right-wing candidates are faced-off against two
progressives in a primary TOMORROW. Experts expect one conservative and
one progressive to make it through to the April 4 general election -- so
long as we mobilize enough Dems to vote in the primary.
Then, there will be a massive 6-week push for the general election.
Big progressive change often takes time, but this is a moment when if you
blink you could miss the chance to have a huge impact that shifts the
trajectory of the whole country in a more progressive direction.
In recent years, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has done extraordinary
organizing on the ground -- and the PCCC has been active in Wisconsin for
over a decade. The machinery is in place. The time to mobilize voters is
NOW.
