Streets for People programme making good progress

parkdale

Nearly 60 resurfacing schemes have been completed so far across the city using money from the Government?s Levelling Up Fund.

Some of the completed roads include Parkdale Road, Tettenbury Road, Eltham Drive, Bulwell Lane and Church Lane. A lot of surface treatments have been planned on other roads throughout March including Girton Road, Portland Court, Cardington Close, Ryeland Gardens and many more.

Local signage and leaflets will be used to update residents on upcoming works near them, and the team has begun asking residents for their feedback via an online survey.

using alternative routes if possible.
