John, tomorrow is Election Day in Wisconsin, and in the 8th Senate District, we're going to see exactly how extreme and out-of-touch Wisconsin legislative Republicans really are.
With a vacant State Senate seat on the ballot, three Republicans in SD-8 are competing for votes by appealing to the most right-wing partisan extremists in their party.
Each one of them would side with the WI GOP supermajority, attempt to overturn Gov. Evers' vetoes and maintain Wisconsin's archaic 1849 abortion ban.
However, Democrats have a fantastic candidate who is committed to protecting abortion access and ensuring all Wisconsinites have access to reproductive care:
Jodi Habush Sinykin will be our pro-choice champion and block the GOP supermajority.
Jodi does not have a primary, but today is the perfect chance to step-up and contribute so that she's financially prepared to beat whichever extremist wins the GOP primary tomorrow. Would you split a contribution between Women Win Wisconsin PAC and Jodi Habush Sinykin today? [[link removed]]
ELECT A PRO-CHOICE CANDIDATE [[link removed]]
Jodi is an environmental advocate and business owner who is committed to making Wisconsin communities even better places to live. She's a problem solver, a bridge builder, and the right candidate for the 8th District.
I trust her to protect our rights and fight for our freedom to make our own healthcare decisions.
Jodi can't win this race on her own, and folks don't even know that we have a legislative special election this spring.
That's why I'm sharing this urgent message before the primary, and it's why I'm asking you to donate today. Can you split a donation between Jodi Habush Sinykin and Women Win Wisconsin so that we can end Wisconsin's 1849 abortion ban? [[link removed]]

With the future of our democracy and reproductive freedom at stake, former Wisconsin State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski launched an initiative building on the power of pro-choice women.
The fall of Roe v. Wade reinstated Wisconsin’s cruel abortion ban from 1849 that provides no exceptions for rape or incest and could jail or fine doctors. But we know the right-wing won’t stop there. Governor Evers has already vetoed nine anti-abortion bills that passed the GOP-controlled legislature, and when he called for a special special to repeal the 1849 law, Republicans gaveled in and out in less than a minute.
At Women Win Wisconsin, we believe the key to stopping the GOP is to activate the overwhelming majority of voters who support reproductive freedom. A recent Marquette University Law School poll showed 80% of Wisconsin voters are concerned with the change in abortion policy now that abortion is illegal in the state. These voters can make the difference in Wisconsin races that are often decided by only a few hundred votes.
Women Win Wisconsin will make sure pro-choice voters know exactly who’s going to fight for their reproductive rights and freedoms. We back pro-choice women running in Wisconsin’s most competitive races, and we’re excited to support Democratic victories up and down the ballot.
There are critical spring elections on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 and Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
