President Biden’s list of accomplishments during his first two years in the White House is as long as it is impactful, folks. But here are just some of our favorites...
- Passed a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill to increase investment in our roads, bridges, airports, public transport, broadband internet, waterways and energy systems.
- Navigated the COVID-19 pandemic by getting more than 600 million life-saving vaccination shots into the arms of Americans through the American Rescue Plan.
- Signed the CHIPS and Science Act to strengthen American manufacturing and innovation.
- Ended nearly 30 years of inaction on gun violence by signing the bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law to enhance background checks, increase school security, provide funds for mental health services, and close the “boyfriend” loophole.
- Tackled climate change head-on by investing nearly $400 billion in climate-first initiatives through the Inflation Reduction Act.
And that doesn’t even include President Biden’s work to lower prescription drug prices, cut child poverty in half, provide student debt relief, reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, or create more jobs in a single year (6.6 million!) than any president in U.S. history!
