There’s no question about it: Chicagoans deserve a mayor who will fight for them rather than divide them — a proven leader with a record of getting things done and, more importantly, the heart to be an effective leader for all of Chicago.

That’s why I’ve proudly endorsed Chuy for Mayor of Chicago. He’s a progressive champion with a history of building coalitions across our city to address the biggest issues we are facing. So that’s why I am asking today:

Chicagoans deserve a leader who will work to solve the root causes of issues facing our city. Chuy has the record and plans to address crime in our communities, improve our education system, and defend human rights, including a woman’s right to an abortion.
