We should not have to fear weapons of war being used in schools, shopping centers, dance studios, theaters, churches, or other public spaces.

But for years, JOhn, too many gutless politicians have carried water for the gun lobby. And the American people have suffered from mass shooting after mass shooting.

In the early weeks of 2023, we've already seen a sharp rise in mass shootings — many of which involved assault weapons. This has to stop.

At last week's State of the Union address, President Biden renewed his call for an assault weapons ban. Jennifer stands with him — and she wants to show pro-NRA members in Congress that opposing an assault weapons ban is a completely unpopular and untenable position.
