It’s a crisis, y’all: THIS FRIDAY a district court in Texas is scheduled to decide the legality of the abortion medication, mifepristone, FOR THE ENTIRE NATION! Yes. You read that right. ALL OF US. The case, Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. U.S. Food and Drug Administration is a frivolous and dangerous lawsuit, filed purposefully in the jurisdiction of a Trump-appointed Judge named Matthew Kacsmaryk because of his extreme views against reproductive and LGBTQIA+ rights. In fact, he recently ruled that Texans under age 18 must now get approval from their parent or guardian before obtaining contraception from federally funded clinics. This is the biggest federal abortion ruling since the fall of Roe and AAF wants to arm you with facts and give you a way to voice your opposition. |
