Dear Friend,
Today is President’s Day, and while we honor those who have led our nation, we are again reminded that our country has never elected a woman president.
We should all be proud of the progress we've made with the election of Vice President Kamala Harris, but we still have work to do to break that final glass ceiling.
Here at Ruth’s List, we know how important it is to have women serving in all levels of government. It’s why we are committed to electing Democratic pro-choice women across Florida — from governor to state legislature to school board. We’re proud that our alumni and endorsed candidates are determined leaders who are paving the way for progress, making it easier for future generations of women to succeed.
We also know that having women in positions of power is crucial to protecting issues we care about deeply, like reproductive freedom and equality.
If you’re tired of seeing women underrepresented in public office, become a monthly donor today and support our work to elect more women across Florida. [[link removed]]

Let’s keep working to build the bench of women leaders in our state, so that one day we can celebrate a woman on President’s Day.
Onward,
