John - Citizens United is a travesty standing in stark defiance of the principles on which our democracy was founded: Every person has an equal opportunity to make their voice heard.

Ten years ago today, the Supreme Court's disastrous decision opened the floodgates of anonymous and limitless dark money into our electoral system. It allowed powerful, deep-pocketed corporations and right-wing, extremist billionaires to buy our elections, influence our courts and push an ultraconservative agenda with ease.

Already this year, they're spending millions more to expand their stranglehold on the Senate and keep their puppet, Mitch McConnell, in power. We need to get dark money out of our elections - and Catherine has joined Senate and House colleagues to take back our democracy.
