Today marks ten years since the Supreme Court handed down the disastrous
decision inCitizens United, which opened our democracy to the outsized
influence of corporations and Super PACs.

Since then, our electoral system has taken a major hit. Now Super PACs can
spend millions and millions of dollars on anonymous attack ads without
transparency.

To this day, we’re still fighting back. Tom has been a champion for campaign
finance reform and worked tirelessly this year to pass the For the People Act
in the House, which would enact the most sweeping set of anti-corruption
measures this nation has ever seen.
