Because Big Ag hides animals raised on factory farms out of sight, it can be easy to not dwell on what they experience and how, just like us, they feel frustration, fear and pain. We know you care about protecting ALL animals from cruelty—and achieving better lives for farmed animals may be an incremental process, but it’s work that needs to be done. We all can play a part.

John, we have two important asks for you today.

First, visit our Farm Bill web alert right away to urge your members of Congress to draft a strong bill that increases protections for farmed animals and finally confronts the factory farming system. The Farm Bill is incredibly important and comes around only every five years. The bill must pass, so it’s a rare opportunity to help farmed animals and build a more humane and fair food system. Senators have to submit their Farm Bill proposals by mid-March, so there’s no time to lose.
