John, we’ve been making every effort to remind Democrats across the country to support this race. Voters often forget about these special elections, meaning that campaigns have a steep hill to climb making sure they remember and show up to the polls when there isn’t a big, national election happening. That’s why your support, today, is so important.

As we've written the past few weeks, we have a golden opportunity--really, a necessity--to shave a seat off of Kevin McCarthy's majority in the House.

Will you join Blue Amp Action in rushing Jennifer McClellan $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can, for her to win this race on Tuesday, fight for all we hold dear in DC & strike another blow vs Kevin McCarthy, taking a seat from his already-thin majority?

In only 2 days(!) there's a special election for an open seat in Virginia to determine if we send an incredibly talented & experienced Democrat, Jennifer McClellan, to Washington. Or a MAGA Republican who refused to accept President Biden's victory, or his own loss in his election!!

But we must continue to support McClellan! As she just shared in an email:

Jennifer McClellan on voter outreach

Jennifer McClellan served in the VA state legislature for a decade and a half. Like she did there, in Congress she'll champion working families and women's rights, and she'll fight GOP white nationalism as the first Black woman elected to this seat. Ever.

Will you join Blue Amp Action in rushing McClellan $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can, for her to win this race on Tuesday, fight for all we hold dear in DC & strike another blow vs Kevin McCarthy, taking a seat from his already-thin majority?

Thank you folks. Now's the time to finish strong!

About BlueAmp Action:

We cannot sugarcoat the current situation. Right-wing authoritarianism, defeated by a worldwide coalition during WWII, was only in hibernation. Over the past decade it has infected democratic societies--including ours. It is as simple as it is terrifying: What we do now will define the future of our country and world.

We at Blue Amp Action are dedicated to liberal, open societies, where reason and science are applied to solve our problems; where civil rights--including voting rights!--are protected for all. We fight for these values every day. Speaking up on our platforms, raising the voices and the political prospects of liberal pols and pundits.

And savvy grassroots activists like you know, just like we do, that we can’t stop watching the people we help elect: after the elections, we have to keep organizing support for the policies we like and pushing back against the ones we don’t.

When the public tunes out between elections and the only people our elected officials hear from are the paid lobbyists of wealthy corporations, our government stops being accountable to the needs of ordinary families.

Democracy never sleeps, and neither can we.

So we ask that you support our work, so we can continue to engage in this fight every moment of every day. So our kids grow up in democracy, not dystopia.
