John, this grassroots team helped us do something incredible last November.
Despite pundits predicting a “red wave,” Democrats won tough races in states like Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada, and even expanded the Senate majority. These results wouldn’t have been possible with Latino voters in general – and Latino youth in particular. These victories were directly connected to our efforts to register and mobilize young Latinos. Since several of the right-wing candidates we defeated were election deniers and January 6 supporters, it’s no exaggeration to say that Latino voters helped save control of the United States Senate.
But now is no time for Democrats to get complacent — 2024 is just around the corner. Can I count on you to donate to Voto Latino now to help us continue building Latino political power across the country? ([link removed])
As we look ahead to 2024, it’s clear that we have our work cut out for us.
That’s because in states like Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Texas, Latino youth are rapidly becoming the largest share of the Latino vote overall. In fact, by the next election, 163,000 young Latinos will turn 18 in Arizona alone — keep in mind that President Joe Biden only won that state by fewer than 12,000 votes!
To build sustained political power and help Democrats win for years to come, we need to meet these young voters where they are. That’s going to require sustained, long-term engagement and investment. And that’s why we need to start today.
The time to build the base and prepare for 2024 begins right now. Will you donate today to help us make Latino voices heard so we can have a decisive role in electing a new generation of leaders who represent our community’s values? ([link removed])
Thank you. Now, let’s get to work.
