Hello, Friends —

After two years, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced this week that their investigation into false allegations against me has ended. Thank you for standing with me through it all while I continued to fight for the objectives and priorities of my Northwest Florida constituents in Congress.

I will not let obstacles like this deter me as I continue to battle against the establishment. Coming out of this, I am further invigorated to fight for transparency for my constituents and the people of this great nation.

REP. GAETZ INTRODUCES BILL TO REINSTATE DISCHARGED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES DUE TO COVID-19 VACCINE MANDATES

Forcing public servants to choose between destroying their livelihood or complying with immoral demands from the federal government is sickening. Yesterday, I introduced the "COVID-19 Federal Employee Reinstatement Act," which will provide financial compensation or full reinstatement for federal employees forced to resign from their careers between September 9th, 2021, and January 24th, 2022.

The Biden administration's Big Government mandate prohibited people from having agency over their own decisions, something objectively against the founding principles of the United States of America.

While Big Pharma profits, people still live with the effects of the government taking away their civil liberties in a very undemocratic way. Biden should never have forced federal employees to resign due to the vaccine mandate. Reinstating and compensating these individuals is the first step toward reconciliation because COVID-19 vaccine mandates have no place in a free country.

REP. GAETZ INTRODUCES THE "MEDICAID WORK REQUIREMENTS ACT"

As the United States national debt swells to $32 trillion and the debate over raising the debt ceiling continues in Congress, I am looking for ways to get our federal debt and deficit spending under control. That is why I introduced the “Medicaid Work Requirements Act” as a proposal to improve the integrity of the Medicaid program and get our country on a more sustainable fiscal path.

My bill would require Medicaid recipients between the ages of 18 and 65, who are physically and mentally able, to work at least three weeks per month. If they are unable to find employment, they could still continue to receive benefits by participating in a job-training program or providing volunteer service for two weeks per month. By putting in place work requirements for able-bodied Medicaid recipients, we can better ensure aid is going to those who need it most and position our country for significant savings.

DEFUND THE WAR IN UKRAINE!

In addition to allocating more than $100 billion in financial aid to Ukraine, our government has continued to send various forms of munitions, weapons, and heavy equipment to the country. I joined Glenn Greenwald on his show "System Update" to discuss my House Resolution that calls to stop all future expenditures to Ukraine and advocates for a peaceful end to this conflict.

Not only are we prolonging the bloodshed and violence in a conflict thousands of miles away, but we are failing to uphold our own regulations that govern how material we provided is tracked. By blindly hurling weapons into a conflict in the name of democracy, we risk them falling into the wrong hands. Given that our country just lost a 20-year war in Afghanistan, why would it be a good idea for us to provoke a nuclear power run by a tyrant? Allocation of hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars toward national security must be directed towards a cause with a clear objective that is in the best interest of the American people.

Gaetz calls DOJ’s dropped charges propaganda: ‘I’m effective at impacting legislation’

"Gaetz noted that he has learned from both former President Donald Trump and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) not to allow the 'process become the punishment' but instead keep moving forward and 'lead on critical Republican efforts.'"

Rep. Gaetz calls out The Squad on Ukraine: 'Where did the anti-war Democrats go?'

"Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., challenged The Squad Wednesday for abandoning their anti-war position along with many others in the Democrat Party. Gaetz made his comments on an episode of "System Update" with independent journalist Glenn Greenwald on the ongoing war in Ukraine. Greenwald and others argue that defending Ukraine is not worth the chance of sparking nuclear conflict with Russia."

Disinformation Inc: Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz vow investigation into conservative site blacklists

"'I'm deeply concerned about [this], and it fits with a horizontal pattern across the enterprise of government to try to shape how people digest information,' Gaetz told the Washington Examiner. 'We've seen it at the Department of Homeland Security. We've seen it at the FBI. We've seen it at the Department of State. I'm going to focus my time on the weaponization subcommittee on these matters...".

Is the Biden Administration Serious About This Part of the Chinese Spy Balloon Event?

"Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) floated the idea that the Chinese spy balloon was a psyop, a poking of the bear to see how we would react—and they sure got an education."
