Friend, I spend a lot of time lately just saying thanks.

In these early days as a candidate for President of the United States, it's obvious that no one can do it alone. And that's why I'm reaching out.

When I look back, it will be among the biggest moments of my entire life. And I couldn't be more grateful to all of you. My dad used to say to me: "Boy, don't forget where you came from and the people who sacrificed to get you to where you are." You helped me get where I am today, and I hope to make you proud and to earn and keep your support every step of the way.

For me, success isn't defined by how many dollars we can raise, but by how many people raise their hands to be part of it. I'm going to be asking for your help, in all sorts of ways, in the weeks and months to come.

Today, the most important way to help kickstart this campaign is by chipping in a donation. Even if it's just a dollar, a donation today would mean the world to me:

I can promise you I'll never forget it.

Now, buckle up, and let's go make some history together.

Cory
