The Guardian calls the Wisconsin Supreme Court election this Spring "an
under-the-radar race that could wind up being the most important election
in America this year." But it's not under the radar for authoritarian,
anti-choice extremists...

UPDATE: NBC News reports, "A conservative group has spent the most on ads
in the race, with $1.6 million already spent."

Can you donate to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's work to get Dems to
the polls in this critical election NOW?

Yes! [ [link removed] ]I will make a donation today. Flipping the Wisconsin Supreme Court
majority from conservative to progressive will affect the whole country.

No, I can't donate right now -- but [ [link removed] ]I'll call Wisconsin voters from my
home to GET OUT THE VOTE.

EARLIER EMAIL:

Conservatives have controlled the Wisconsin Supreme Court for years --
often upholding horrific abuses by the Republican state legislature. Now,
a conservative justice is retiring and progressives have a chance to flip
the court.

Voter suppression in the 2024 presidential election is on the
ballot. Wisconsin’s votes in four of the last six presidential elections
were decided by less than one point. The Senate race last year was one of
the closest in the country.

The next Wisconsin Supreme Court will very likely make key decisions on
voting rights. In a state with such tight voting margins, those decisions
could literally change the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.

In recent years, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has done extraordinary
organizing on the ground -- and the PCCC has been active in Wisconsin for
over a decade. The machinery is in place. The time to mobilize voters is
NOW.

Can you donate to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's work to get Dems to
the polls in this critical election NOW?

from conservative to progressive will affect the whole country!

No, I can't donate right now -- but [ [link removed] ]I'll call Wisconsin voters from my

Officially, Wisconsin's Supreme Court races are "non-partisan." But this
year, two extreme right-wing candidates are faced-off against two
progressives in a February 21 primary. Experts expect one conservative and
one progressive to make it through to the April 4 general election -- so
long as we mobilize enough Dems to vote in the primary.

Then, there will be a massive 6-week push for the general election.

Other cases that will likely come before the Wisconsin Supreme Court
include the state's 173-year-old abortion ban -- one of the most extreme
-- and some of the most egregious Republican gerrymandering in the
country. The outcomes of these cases will have national implications.

Big progressive change often takes time, but this is a moment when if you
blink you could miss the chance to have a huge impact that changes the
trajectory of the whole country.

Can you donate to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's work to get Dems to
the polls in this critical election NOW?

Yes, [ [link removed] ]I will make a donation today. Flipping the Wisconsin Supreme Court
from conservative to progressive will effect the whole country!

[ [link removed] ]No, I can't donate right now -- but I'll call Wisconsin voters from my
home to GET OUT THE VOTE.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
