John, Over the weekend, I met a very enthusiastic voter who thanked me over and over for knocking on her door while I was out canvassing. She said, "The last time any candidate knocked on my door was Gabby Giffords back in 2006 when she first ran for the House seat."
We hear these stories over and over - stories of “representatives” who only show up when it’s time to pander for re-election. In any other job, someone who didn’t show up for work would be fired. Elected representatives should be held to the same standard. As a Congresswoman, I’ll show up. Help me send the message that no-show leaders are no longer acceptable. If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly: When I’m elected, I’m not going to put my feet up and call it a day. I’m going to work diligently on legislation that’s good for the people. I’m going to be on the ground here in AZ-01, staying in touch with the needs of the people. Everyone in this district will know my face and they will know I am here for THEM - every single day. It’s time for us to step up and demand better. It’s time for a Congress that cares about more than just re-election. Will you step up with us? In solidarity,
