Going electric

Catherine McKenna was in Guelph, Ontario to announce federal funding to help replace 35 diesel buses with electric buses. It’s an important example of how our Liberal government is continuing to support sustainable infrastructure and a low-carbon future, while growing our economy. More jobs, and a growing economy

Canadians created over 35,000 new jobs in December, and over one million new jobs since November 2015! Plus, 2019 saw the lowest unemployment rate on record. Bill Morneau announced that the Government of Canada’s pre-budget consultation process has opened and Canadians are invited to offer their ideas on how the Liberal government can continue to create jobs, grow the middle class, and build an economy that works for everyone.
