Hey John,

I’m back home in NM-02 this week meeting with more constituents and small business owners.

We’re not where we need to be this month when it comes to fundraising, so I just wanted to reach out and explain why these monthly goals are so important.

This campaign has always been powered by the people through grassroots donations — our average donation this year is just $21. But that’s down from our average of $47 last cycle, and less folks are donating so far in 2023.

I also have less time to fundraise myself, with my time spent working for you legislating in Washington and meeting New Mexicans here in the district.

It’s still early 2023, but the 2024 election will be here before we know it, and this seat is a top toss-up race. Plus, we already know my former far-right opponent is planning a rematch.

With all of that in mind, I have to ask: can you chip in as little as $5 to support our campaign and help us get back on track this February?
