John,

We wanted to make sure you didn’t miss Jane’s message about our tremendous progress in 2022.

We knocked on doors, elected 48 climate champions, traveled across the country to support our candidates, and we could not have done it without your support.

With that in mind, will you contribute $10 to help us grow our program?

John,

As we approach the one year anniversary of the launch of Jane Fonda Climate PAC, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your support.

It was a busy, full, and very successful first year. I am thrilled with all that Jane Fonda Climate PAC accomplished, but I am also well aware that we still have the struggle of our lives. The science is more clear every year – the climate crisis is human-caused, and any solution requires putting an end to fossil fuels.

But we didn’t need the scientific reports to convince us of the threat we’re facing – heatwaves and droughts, hurricanes and floods, and in my home state of California, the record-setting deadly wildfires.

The good news is that now, finally, a majority of the American public is concerned about climate change. But the majority of the American public are not elected leaders. Those with the power to make the change we need consistently lag behind both science and public opinion.

There are some courageous vocal climate champions, but our leaders are not delivering what the science demands. And even the growing segment of climate champions in elected office often only get half of the equation, promoting much-needed clean, renewable energy while continuing to permit oil and gas development, negating much of the benefits of the clean energy revolution.

That’s where our PAC comes in. In 2022, of the 60 candidates we supported in the general election, 42 of them now hold offices up and down the ballot. To maximize our impact, moving forward, we are investing in growing our capacities to increase our ability to recruit and engage our growing supporter community and much more.

That investment is only possible with your support – will you contribute $10 today to continue your support for the Jane Fonda Climate PAC? Every dollar you invest has an impact as we lead the fight against climate change.

We couldn’t have done this without you - and we cannot do what we need to do in 2023, 2024, and beyond without you too. I am under no illusions that electing real climate leaders and then driving the needed change will be easy. But I know that it is the most important thing we must do, and I do believe that together, we can do it. We can win.

Gratefully,
Jane Fonda
