‌ ‌ WEEKLY UPDATE February 17th, 2023 Dear Kansas friends, Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family. Honoring Fallen Officer James Muhlbauer Kansas City Police Officer James Muhlbauer and his K-9 partner Champ were killed in the line of duty when their patrol car was struck by another vehicle Wednesday. Join me in praying for Officer Muhlbauer's family and loved ones, his friends, and the entire KC Police Department as they mourn this tragic loss. God bless our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line for our communities. Holding Communist China Accountable House Republicans created the China Select Committee to put forward real solutions to counter the growing threat from Communist China. It's vital that Congress works in a bipartisan way to protect our national security. The United States military shot down 3 more flying objects over the weekend. President Biden has said NOTHING. Americans deserve answers and transparency from their Commander-in-Chief. Unfortunately, President Biden's policies show he is unwilling to take meaningful action. WATCH HERE Fentanyl overdoses in KCK are up 57% from 2021 to 2022. This deadly epidemic, fueled by Mexican cartels at the southern border, is plaguing our communities and crushing Kansas families. We must secure the border and crack down on fentanyl traffickers. Read more HERE Kansans are very concerned, and rightfully so, that a social media company collaborated with a government entity and a political party to suppress certain social media accounts and filter news ahead of an election cycle. Read more: HERE Kansans have taken an unexpected pay cut for 22 months in a row under President Biden's failed economic policies. I am fighting for a pro-growth agenda that puts American workers and small businesses back in the driver's seat of our economy. Chiefs Win Super Bowl LVII! Congratulations to Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the entire Chiefs organization on a fantastic season and incredible Super Bowl victory! There's no better fan base in the world to be a part of than Chiefs Kingdom. Let's go Chiefs!
