John, while much of our attention continues to be on the very real, very visible damage of war in Ukraine, Syria, Yemen and so many other places, we cannot forget the invisible wounds conflict inflicts on children’s mental health.
The psychological and emotional challenges that children must brave when living in areas of war stay with them. From fearing for their safety to witnessing unspeakable violence on a daily basis, these children need and deserve our protection.
