Fellow Conservative,

This week, I put Facebook, Google, Twitter, and TikTok on notice. 

I sent them a letter, as the ranking Republican of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, letting them know that we’re launching a full investigation to shine a light on Big Tech’s efforts to silence conservative voices. 

The time for transparency and accountability is long overdue. The suppression we’ve seen is breathtaking – the “Twitter Files” are the tip of the iceberg.   
 
We’re going to get to the bottom of how Twitter got played by the FBI and worked on its behalf to bury the Hunter Biden story.

We need to EXPOSE and END political censorship and collusion between Big Tech and partisan government employees to influence election outcomes!

I’m demanding detailed information and documentation explaining the scope of the Big Tech giants’ recommendation systems and how they affect content distribution.  
 
Elon Musk has made great strides at Twitter – firing far-left authoritarians who acted as henchmen for the Democrats and their allies. But today, there are still far too many entrenched employees at these companies, across the board, who’ve made it their mission to silence speech they do not like.  

 
What Elon is doing is consequential and we MUST do our part in Congress to restore and protect free speech in our country. This investigation will inform future legislative efforts to reform Section 230, to ensure Big Tech companies will only receive protection if they act as neutral marketplaces of ideas rather than as publishers.
