Senior officials believe the Chinese spy balloon was originally planned to conduct surveillance over U.S. military bases in Guam and Hawaii, but winds took it off course.

San Francisco officials are pushing to legalize sex work

San Francisco City Supervisor Hillary Ronen is pushing to legalize sex work, backing a plan proposed by sex workers and residents to designate a red-light district in the city. 

The announcement follows a reported rise of sex work in the Mission District.
