Team — Less than one year after the Supreme Court made the disastrous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade , reproductive rights still remain under attack.
As of today, abortion is banned completely in 12 states across the country. But in January, the Food and Drug Administration expanded access to mifepristone — a safe, effective abortion pill — providing a lifeline to women seeking care in states where the practice is now criminalized.
That could all change soon. A federal judge in Texas could reverse the FDA’s approval of mifepristone. If he does, it means that mifepristone wouldn’t just become unavailable in Texas, but nationwide .
Team, I won’t mince words: that would be catastrophic. Mifepristone is an absolutely critical medication — 50% of women seeking abortion care in the U.S. use this medication.
That’s why we joined together with our Democratic colleagues to introduce the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act — legislation that would make the FDA’s approval of mifepristone permanent and protect access to medication abortion nationwide.
This can’t wait. Team, will you sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act and tell the Senate that it’s time to get this done?

Thank you for adding your voice alongside ours in this important fight. Today and every day, we’ll fight back against those who seek to deny women their rights, freedoms, and dignity.
