If a Trump-appointed judge strikes down the Food & Drug Administration’s approval of a critical abortion medication later this month, the most common form of abortion care could effectively be banned across the United States.
But that’s not all.
The ruling would set a dangerous precedent that radical right-wingers can challenge the approval of ANY medication they don’t approve of — like the birth control pill or emergency contraception (aka Plan B).
All these medications have been studied for years and judged safe and effective by the experts. Overturning their approval would be a purely political stunt designed to control our bodies.
