Hello and happy Friday!
This weekend kicks off the SEWE festival in Charleston and we hope to see you there celebrating conservation and wildlife in the Lowcountry.
We spent the week in the district connecting with many of you. On Monday, we went down to Kiawah and attended the Governor’s Conference on Travel and Tourism. Our economy depends on travel and tourism. Visitors come from all over the globe to see the Lowcountry’s natural beauty, particularly our beautiful beaches. Lowcountry depends on conservation and the preservation of our beaches to survive.
On Tuesday, we hosted Coffee With Your Congresswoman on James Island. Thanks to everyone who came out and joined us. It was a great crowd and we always appreciate the chance to hear from all of you. Stay tuned for more events like this one in the future. Next week we are hosting Cocktails With Your Congresswoman on Hilton Head Island at The Smokehouse. Don't forget to RSVP here! We look forward to seeing you there.
Later this week we met with constituents in our new Mt. Pleasant office and out in the district. We hope you’ll come by and see us soon. Next week is another busy week in the Lowcountry. In the meantime, enjoy the SEWE celebrations.
As always, our office is here to lend a hand whenever we can. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our office if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to be heard on any issue at any time. We’re here to help.
It’s an immense honor to serve each and every one of you.
Sincerely,
|
