Catherine was sitting in her high school film class when her teacher
shared about the annual Healthy Futures of Texas Film Contest.

"It sounded like a really GREAT OPPORTUNITY to be able TO TALK ABOUT
SOMETHING THAT MATTERED," she said.

_“I’VE BEEN MAKING FILMS TO HAVE A VOICE." _CATHERINE 

"Whatever I feel like talking about, I just get a camera out and start
creating something….[Filmmaking] is very intertwined with my life,” she
said.
