I spent formative years of my life on my grandparents’ rice farm in rural Japan.

But my courageous mother wanted a better life for us.

She brought us to the United States hoping for a better future.

Today, I am proud to be able to serve in the United States Senate, and am thankful for my mother's courage and perseverance.

Team ASPIRE is working to amplify the voices of families like mine – and our story is not unique. With your help, we can find a seat at the table for a new wave of leaders to take the torch.
