It's Official!

Today, I filed to be a candidate to continue to serve as your West Virginia Attorney General.

I filed to serve you and here's why...

1. We have unfinished business in West Virginia and in our great nation. We’ve successfully sued the federal government and drug companies and have dramatically reduced the supply of illicit drugs in West Virginia. But we have much more work in front of us to stop the senseless death and devastation. I'm here to continue the fight. As the opioid epidemic rages, I pledge to continue to target the root causes of the drug epidemic.

2. We need an Attorney General who will work with President Trump but will also work to protect the interests of West Virginia no matter who sits in the White House. I have done both. I have led major fights against the Obama Administration and would be ready to lead nationally on Day One, if, for some reason, one of the socialists in the opposing party should somehow become president. West Virginia cannot have a socialist AG who will sue President Trump or support socialist positions.

3. We must continue to fight fraud and abuse in WV and across our country and we must continue to defend and advance our West Virginia values. I will continue to fight for the consumer and protect our God given rights. Changing leadership now will only help those who support the extreme positions of the left, erode our gun rights, and compromise the rule of law.

It’s official. I am a candidate for Attorney General in West Virginia in 2020. But the opposition has already pledged millions against me.
