My name is Jenn McClellan.

I am a Black woman, working mom, an 18-year state legislator, and the Democratic nominee for Virginia’s 4th Congressional District.

Our special election campaign is a chance to make history — no Black woman has ever represented Virginia in the United States Congress.

As a Black woman, I bring a whole new perspective that has not had a voice in the Virginia delegation. And I’ll be honest with you, that perspective has been long underrepresented in Congress.
