Protecting: Voting Rights
Advocate, I don't want to be dramatic, but 2020 is going to be a big year for our country. We're officially in a presidential election year — and not just any presidential election year, but one that will impact our country and our world for generations. Some of our elected leaders are going to work to disenfranchise people of color, women, people with disabilities, and more. And they're counting on our apathy. This is why voting rights is a big part of what we do at The Leadership Conference.

Our democracy depends on it.

And that's why we got out in front with our All Voting is Local campaign in 2018. We have teams on the ground in states nationwide fighting to dismantle barriers to the ballot box (including wrongful voter purges, strict voter ID laws, and polling place closures) before the 2020 elections, so that every voter can cast a ballot that counts.

They have their plans. We have ours. And we want to know how you want to be involved in making this happen. Take our survey and let us know your top priorities.

Our strategy to protect our democracy is a strong one. From the halls of Congress to the state legislature and everywhere in between, we want to make sure that in this election and beyond, everyone has the ability to exercise their right to vote. And your input is invaluable to that — now more than ever. Take our two-question survey and let us know what's important to you.
