Applications for the Vaccine Uptake Initiative Due March 1
NCOA is preparing to distribute millions of dollars in grants to eligible organizations that want to protect older adults from the threats of flu and COVID-19.

Provide a letter of intent by March 1 and propose a multi-month project focused on vaccine education and uptake—with the primary goal of getting older adults and persons with disabilities vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu.

NCOA will provide training and technical assistance to ensure your success. With that support, you can confidently strengthen your role as a trusted source of information with older adults.

You should apply for the Vaccine Uptake Initiative if you are a:
  • Senior center
  • Community center
  • Local community organization that serves, supports, and includes older adults and people with disabilities
  • Faith-based organization that serves, supports, and includes older adults and people with disabilities
  • Governmental agency
  • Other federally recognized nonprofit organization

Health is a fundamental part of aging well. As a grantee in this initiative, you'll be helping your community stay healthy and active.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis with a priority deadline for applications of March 1, or until all funds are exhausted. Approved projects can start immediately and close as late as April 15, 2024.

We look forward to seeing your ideas!

Sincerely,
The NCOA Team
