John,

We just scored a major victory in our lawsuit against the National Archives (NARA) for targeting and harassing pro-life visitors.

As our lawsuit states, federal employees of the National Archives conducted a coordinated effort to "single out, embarrass, intimidate, exclude, and ultimately silence the message expressed by Plaintiffs in wearing their 'pro-life' clothing and other attire," which is a clear "violation of the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment."

The government JUST AGREED to enter into a consent order and preliminary injunction.

Now the National Archives CANNOT bar anyone from entering for being pro-life or wearing pro-life clothing. It must apologize to our clients for the actions of its staff who targeted, mistreated, and humiliated them for being pro-life. And it must provide a copy of the consent order to all security officers at every NARA location.

This is a big win, but the case isn't over. Now we go to court to find out how this inexcusable targeting happened in the first place and who really gave the order. It's an egregious – and dangerous – violation of the Constitution. Someone must be held accountable.

Meanwhile in Congress, the House JUST passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Pelosi COULD NOT BLOCK IT. Now new pro-life bills have just been introduced, and our legal deadlines in pro-life cases are looming.

As this vital bill goes to the Senate, we urgently need you to take action to demand a vote TODAY.
