Now, he’s running for reelection in 2024, despite his proposal limiting senators to serving two terms. We can’t allow Ted Cruz with his extremist views to continue representing us in Congress.

Texans deserve better than a hypocrite like Ted Cruz representing them in the United States Senate.
Despite his own proposal of implementing congressional term limits that would cap U.S. Senators at serving two six-year terms, he is still running for reelection in 2024.
Senator Cruz should stick to his own rules and back out of the 2024 Senate race.

This isn’t the first time Ted Cruz has been caught doing the people of our great state a disservice.
In February of 2021, he fled to Cancún with his family during a devastating winter storm and subsequent power grid failure in Texas. In doing so, he selfishly left his constituents behind to freeze. That is not leadership or good representation.
We can’t allow a dishonorable person like Ted Cruz continue to serve in the Senate when he abandoned our state in a time of crisis.
