Dear John,
It’s worse than we thought, John. At first, they were trying to repeal the residency requirement of the so-called “Death with Dignity” Act. Now nearly every other supposed safeguard is on the chopping block.
Supporters of euthanasia in the Oregon Senate introduced SB 891 [[link removed]], which will
Reduce the 15-day waiting period to just 48 hours, require a medical “evaluation” instead of a full examination, allow physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners to make a determination of eligibility, and potentially more.
In addition to removing the residency requirement, these changes will make it even easier to move people through the physician-assisted suicide assembly line.
John, your support is crucial in stopping this deadly legislation.
You can help push back against this bill by supporting our lobbying efforts in Salem. Would you make a special gift to Oregon Right to Life to stand against the tide of physician-assisted suicide?
Help stop euthanasia [[link removed]]
Pro-euthanasia politicians like Kate Brown, Ellen Rosenblum, and others are pushing to eliminate every barrier to physician-assisted suicide. You can help stop them. Your advocacy makes a statement that every life, no matter their age or condition, is valuable and deserves to be protected and not threatened.
Because everyone deserves an advocate,
