Friend, Big Oil spent BIG last year.

They invested $34 MILLION into lobbying against climate justice policy and forcing their corporate interests ahead of Californians.

And yet, EnviroVoters worked strategically alongside our allies to overcome that Big Oil lobbying war chest to pass bills, achieve regulatory wins, and advance California’s climate budget. And our work has paid off — our 2022 California Environmental Scorecard proves that 2022 was one of the most successful environmental years of ALL TIME in California.

Friend, it was the contributions from EnviroVoters members like YOU that helped us boost California’s grade from a D to an A-.

But we cannot allow 2022’s success to be an anomaly. Big Oil is already going out of its way to undo last year’s progress and there’s no saying how much more they plan to spend against climate justice in 2023. Our most vulnerable communities and ecosystems need California to keep up straight A’s on climate.

So friend, can you pitch in $15 or more to help us resist Big Oil’s influence in Sacramento and push for another A grade in 2023?

In 2022, EnviroVoters staff were at the front lines of climate and environmental battles.

→ We worked alongside our climate champions in the Legislature to help pass critical legislation like oil drilling safety setbacks, stronger renewables and carbon removal goals, a first-in-the-nation single-use plastic ban, and MORE.

→ We were able to pass these bills despite corporate polluters and climate-delaying legislators immensely outspending us.

→ We mobilized and advocated for a massive climate investment in the state budget, and succeeded in helping to land an increase of $17 BILLION from the initial proposal.

→ We were there in Sacramento, fighting and winning regulatory victories like Advanced Clean Cars II (100% of new vehicle sales required to be zero-emission by 2023).

EnviroVoters could not have achieved all of this without the support of our members. You are the reason we are able to push the needle on climate action in California and the rest of the world.

And despite whatever amount of money Big Oil throws at us, we’re going to make sure California keeps up straight A’s

Friend, please consider donating to EnviroVoters’ ongoing efforts to stand up to corporate polluters and advance climate justice. Your support truly makes a difference.
