Over the years, one thing has helped me stay focused and dedicated to what I was elected to do: fighting for working families and our democracy.

I don’t take my job lightly. I wasn’t elected to sit in Washington and let others do my job. I was elected for affordable healthcare, common-sense gun control, and defending our Constitution. Kevin McCarthy thinks stripping me of my committees is going to stop me, but he’s wrong.
