As the NDRC’s new senior mobilization strategist, I’m excited to join a leading organization in the fight for a more true and representative democracy.

Hey there, John – I’m Vic, the NDRC’s new senior mobilization strategist! I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself.

I’m pumped to be working with a leading organization in the fight for a more true and representative democracy. In my role, I’m helping to power the NDRC’s ongoing work by cultivating one of our most valuable resources: This grassroots team!

Grassroots supporters like you are the lifeblood of the NDRC’s fight to end gerrymandering, defend every American's right to vote, and safeguard our democracy for generations to come. If you’re able, will you pitch in today to help us continue our critical work?

Since the NDRC’s founding, people like you have helped us achieve some incredible victories.

For instance, last year’s elections took place on what The New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.” That accomplishment was only possible thanks to years of organizing, mobilizing communities, and advocating for fair redistricting reforms.

Still, our work is far from over. As Attorney General Eric Holder said, “Fighting for fair maps helped save our democracy. But this is not a one and done effort.”

He’s right. According to our research, about a quarter of maps across the country are still unfairly drawn. And Republican lawmakers in swing states, like my home state of Ohio, are actively working to implement new voting restrictions ahead of 2024. There’s a lot of work to do – and I’m excited to take it on.

But I also know the NDRC never would have made it this far without grassroots supporters like you, and now we need you by our side during this next phase of our work. I hope you’ll consider making a quick contribution today to help us continue fighting for free and fair elections.

Thanks, John – I’m looking forward to working together!
