I'm Telling You, Perimenopause Doesn’t Totally Suck

“If you’re in your 40s or thereabouts, you’re probably familiar with the dreaded P-word,” writes Janine Annett today. Not period nor pasta nor #promposal. She’s talking about perimenopause, the phase before menopause officially kicks off. And she’s got some good news, actually!

“I tend to want to look on the bright side. So let’s meno-pause (again, sorry) and think about the upside to what’s happening downstairs,” she suggests. Frankly, I found it reassuring – and it cracked me up. Enjoy!
