And 2022 was another year when Families in Transition sought to meet people where they are, treat them with dignity, and endeavor to prevent and continuously break the cycle of homelessness. This is our work every day.

We have some exciting things in store
We are proud of these accomplishments in 2022 and are poised to continue this work in 2023. With a lot of work going on every day, we have some exciting opportunities when you can engage, support, and learn more about the work of Families in Transition.
🎉Mark your calendar – our 33rd Walk Against Hunger will be held on Sunday, May 21st in Veteran’s Park. Registration is open – click here to sign up and get ready for another wonderful event!
🏢Increasing capacity – We will add three additional units to our family shelter to help alleviate a continued need and demand for these services. Renovations are slated to begin in
March!
💙Introducing GivePulse – our new volunteer platform. Designed with our volunteers in mind – we are thrilled to bring this new resource and capacity to our volunteer community and work. Check it out!
