Friend, Over the past month, the Republican party has doubled down on their extremism. On LGBTQ+ rights, abortion, gun safety, and even our very democracy, Republicans have gotten increasingly radical. Federally, they’re threatening to send the country into default — causing a global financial crisis — if we don’t cut investments in critical programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, public education, public housing, and more. At the state level, they’re passing extreme abortion bans, targeting gender-affirming healthcare, and in Missouri, they struck down a bill ensuring only adults could carry guns. These positions are the opposite of what our communities need, and I’m ready to fight back. I’ll keep organizing to win back the House and deliver legislation that protects working families. Are you with me? Our movement is strong, but we need all hands on deck. The Republican party is a party of extremists, and we can’t let these horrific proposals stand.
