Please join me in Manchester for a public forum on Wednesday, February 22nd at 5:30 PM.
During the forum, we will discuss the debt ceiling and how proposals in Congress could impact earned benefits like Medicare and Social Security.
Some members of Congress have proposed cuts to these programs in exchange for raising the debt ceiling. I oppose these efforts and have offered legislation to protect and expand Social Security benefits, not cut them.
