 Dear John, People’s World is near and dear to the CPUSA. The PW is a readers supported publication and must raise $125,000 by May 1st. Reaching this goal, and ensuring the existence of this mass voice for democracy and socialism, is one of the most important tasks facing the party. This goal is $50,000 more than 2022. That’s a heavy lift but if every member pitches in we’ll succeed. People's World has raised over $40,000 so far, and we’re just getting started! One way you can help, besides donating your hard-earned money, is to speak with others about donating. People's World has many readers, so we have to talk to a lot of people. The upcoming February 19-25 People's World Winter Phonathon is all about that. Sign up to work the auto-dialer HERE for call shifts during the day or evening, or whenever convenient. We can reach most People's World readers and supporters if at least 100 enthusiastic volunteers sign up to help. We'll make thousands of reader-to-reader contacts during the phonathon. We'll share experiences about struggles you’re involved with, and get their feedback. Phonathons are one of the most enjoyable experiences imaginable.
